I used to consider the BBC a fairly reliable, middle-of-the-road source, but ever since I started researching DEI and the Israel-Hamas war, I've realized just how biased and detached from journalism they are. It isn't shocking that they made a propaganda piece masquerading as journalism.
Thank you for your words. The whole narrative has become so anti white anti British anti western anti American anti everything that has made everyone more comfortable, everyone of every possible colour and every possible social status is today in a better place than when I was a child.
Well at least we were until the lockdown hysteria.
Keep it up, members of the Equiano team! This continued skewing of the narrative on race doesn't seem to be going away and needs to be constantly challenged!
Well, I don't watch the BBC, and I probably wouldn't watch a George Floyd documentary, but I can easily image how awful this documentary is. When certain events take on a cult/ideological status the subsequent narrative is invariably built on fantasy, bias, ignorance and prejudice. Atleast by people who care little about actual facts.
I find it appalling that George Floyd was restrained as he was and died because of the knee to his neck. And racism no doubt exists - but was he killed because the policeman was racist? Maybe, but I question the method of restraint as there was a young white man called Tony Timpa, who was restrained in this manner, too, and died. Not only was he restrained but the officers in charge were joking as they did this. Unfortunately, his death barely got headlines. https://www.nationalreview.com/news/tony-timpa-suffered-the-same-fate-as-george-floyd-but-received-none-of-the-attention/

Thank heavens there is the Equiano Project to provide a credible and legitimate voice to counter conceit of the BBC.
