Another important highlight of our conversation with Douglas Murray from 2020.
In this clip:
Douglas Murray criticises the term "white privilege," arguing against the idea that it persisted throughout history, pointing out that many individuals, including white people, faced significant challenges in the past.
He expresses frustration with people who act as if historical awareness of marginalised groups is a recent phenomenon, highlighting that there were prominent figures from various backgrounds well before the current era.
Murray suggests that while certain voices may have been underrepresented in the past, history is complex, with many groups facing adversity, such as the working class and those who were not literate.
He questions the focus on gender, race, and sexuality in current discussions, arguing that while important, it may overlook other significant issues and exacerbate divisions.
Murray advocates for a broader understanding of history and literature, encouraging the recognition of marginalised voices as integral parts of mainstream narratives rather than relegating them to special interest categories.

How about this for white privilege: I never had any living grandparents they were assinated or died from malnutrition.
How about being laughed at or turned down for a job because my communications skills were not "excellent" or my intersectionality of white and female could not be acceptable in a black, male dominant field. Why I didn't own a bike till my 20's why my family never owned a new car.
