The Equiano Project is seeking passionate volunteers to support our exhibition stall at the upcoming ARC Conference in London. The Alliance for Responsible Citizenship is a global movement that promotes active citizenship and collective responsibility to build stronger families, communities, and nations. This conference will bring together leading thinkers and changemakers from around the world to share a hopeful vision for the future. Speakers include Bari Weiss, Ian Rowe, Niall Ferguson, and other prominent figures.
Having a stall at the conference is a fantastic opportunity to represent our organisation and engage with conference attendees about our critical work.
What You'll Do
Welcome and interact with conference attendees
Share information about The Equiano Project's mission, initiatives, and impact
Distribute promotional materials and answer questions about our work
Help maintain and organise the stall throughout the conference
Work alongside our core team members
What We're Looking For
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of or interest in The Equiano Project's work
Reliability and punctuality
Ability to work as part of a team
Details and timings
Venue: 'ExCeL London', Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London, E16 1XL
Dates: Monday 17th February to Wednesday 19th February 2025
Timings: 9:00am to 5:30pm each day
Food and travel expenses will be covered. With an exhibitor pass, you can also access the talks, breakfast and lunch each day, a drinks party on the Monday night and a 3-course dinner on the Tuesday night.
